Elijah Chhum

"Folks, I'm telling you, birthing is hard and dying is mean- so get yourself a little loving in between." -Langston Hughes

Elijah originally hails from Rochester, MN, but currently lives in Berkeley. He got his start singing in church camps and middle school musicals. He sings tenor and lead parts in both The Patch Notes and the East Bay Harmony community chorus.

When he's not singing, he aspires to make film projects about the Khmer American experience. He has worn many hats over the years as a talent agent, a modeling agent, a filmmaker, and a community mental health care case worker. Elijah enjoys 90s R&B and 60s folk music.
