Hahns Shin

"If you can walk, you can dance. If you can talk, you can sing."

Hahns hails originally from Lafayette, Indiana, where he sang with the Purdue Varsity Glee Club for 4 years at over 200 shows. He has performed on stage as a singer and in the orchestra pit as a violinist for many musicals, including "Into the Woods" and "1776". A cappella singing is basically his life now, while he anchors (with his bombastic bass voice) four different a cappella groups, including The Patch Notes. Hahns currently lives in Oakland, but he works at Sony Interactive Entertainment.

A lifelong gamer, he loves board games, card games, video games, and roleplaying games of all kinds. He is also obsessed with musical theater, and he owns an impressive collection of Broadway cast albums. He also loves cats, and his cat Remington Jones is his best friend and stalwart companion.

Hahns would be hard-pressed to tell you who his favorite a cappella group was, but he regularly listens to Pentatonix, Straight No Chaser, The Hyannis Sound, Take 6, and Da Vinci's Notebook.
